Herald Fire Protection District

Burn permits are required by the Herald Fire Protection District.    To receive a permit you must be a resident of the Herald Fire District.  Once you receive your permit, you need to call Sacramento Fire Dispatch at (209)-748-2361.  Please have your permits with you when you call.  Permits are available at the Herald Fire Department, during normal business hours only.  The cost for an annual burn permit is $5.00.
