Herald Fire Protection District

Burn permits are required by the Herald Fire Protection District.  There is no fee for a residential permit.  To recieve a permit you must be a resident of the Herald Fire District.  Once you recieve your permit, you need to call Sacramento Fire Dispatch at (209)-748-2361.  Please have your permits with you when you call.  Permits are available at the locations below, during normal business hours.
